The general dress code for the clubhouse is SMART CASUAL. This also includes CLEAN golf wear.
Dining Room and Bar Areas: Smart casual is the requirement unless a function requires more formal wear. No Golf Shoes at any time.
Tailored Shorts may be worn in all Clubhouse areas at any time. Cargo Shorts or Cargo Trousers, Tracksuits (including Jogging Bottoms), T-Shirts, ¾ Length trousers cannot be worn at any time.
Smart, clean jeans (not ripped) can be worn.
Footwear without socks is only permitted in the spike bar or on the patio.
Headwear is not permitted within the Clubhouse at any time. The only permissible exception is religious attire.
Water Proof, Shower Proof & Protective Clothing
Golfers may, when using the spike bar midway through their round of golf, wear waterproof clothing in the Spike Bar, but should refrain from using the seats when said waterproofs are wet or dirty. The maximum allowable time for this is 10 minutes.
Golf Course Dress Code
Golf Shirts must be collared, unless specifically designed for golf, and tucked in at all times. Only trousers or tailored shorts are allowed. White socks must be worn with tailored shorts. Golfers must wear golf shoes. Either soft or metal spikes are allowed.
Function Dress Code
MEMBERS & GOLF SOCIETIES: All formal functions are Jacket & Tie unless previously agreed with the General Manager. The Club Captain and Board Members are the only people authorised to amend the dress code, but only at the time of the function.
VISITORS: All arrangements for private functions must include a dress code. All food and drink requirements must be approved by the General Manager.

Sudbury Golf Club General Rules
Mobile Phones, Tablets or Other Electronic Devices
Conversations on mobile phones are only allowed in the Changing Rooms or Car Parks.
Children who wish to use tablets or similar devices to play/watch games or films may do so only in the Sun Lounge area. Headphones must be used, or the device switched to “silent” mode.
Golf Shoes must not be worn in the Dining Room on any occasion. Golf Shoes are only permitted in the Spike Bar, Sun Lounge and Changing Rooms. They are not allowed anywhere else in the clubhouse.
All food eaten in the Clubhouse must have been purchased from the Caterer or the Bar.
All guests using the golf course must sign in with the pro shop before starting their game. All non-golfers and guests visiting the clubhouse ONLY, must immediately sign the visitor’s book, available from the bar.
